We run 4 OBT classes annually: two at the beginning of the year and two towards the end of the year.
Two of the 4 annual OBT classes are held at the Leesburg FD Training Center in Leesburg, FL, located about 30 minutes from Orlando. The third class is typically hosted by a department that aligns with our mission and vision and can be located anywhere in the country.
Once the dates are finalized, we will announce them on our social media pages along with a link to the application. Be sure to follow us at Proactive Rescue Operations to stay updated. The application period typically remains open for one week, and selected applicants will be notified via email.
No, all you need is proof of being a Certified Firefighter.
